Installing FREVO using Eclipse

The FREVO tool was developed in JAVA so basically any JAVA development environment can be used. Here we describe a way to use Eclipse to set up the project.

  • Download and install Eclipse from the following link.
  • Download the core FREVO package from this page, then extract it to a folder.
  • Start Eclipse, click on File/Import, select Existing Projects into Workspace. Browse for the directory where you previously extracted the files. Click finish.
  • At this point the project should appear on the left side of the screen with the name FREVO. To launch the program, right-click on the FrevoMain.java int the src/main source folder in the tree then select Run As/Java Application. You should have the program up and running.
