Teaching: Network simulation lab In the lab "Network simulation lab" the students learn how to simulate wireless networks and are introduced to the usage of the network simulation tool 'OPNET'. In addition they also get a deeper knowledge in theoretical aspects of wireless networks. This course is intended as a supplement to the lecture "Mobile and Wireless Systems II". In order to pass the course, the students have to solve some problems they get each week and some of them have to present their solution to the other students and the supervisor. Many of these problems include simulations of networks with OPNET, which they can do on some computers provided by the university. In addition to that, they have to attend an oral exam at the end of the course. The problems discussed in the course can be found below. We also provide some sample solutions (done by our students) of some of them, but they are only thought to be explanatory material for our course (or if you want to design your own course) and may not be used for other purposes! Especially, there is no guarantee that this solutions are complete or correct in any way. The students had to solve the following problems:
